Your Historic Guests

John Adams:
John Adams, the "Colossus of Independence," from the Continental Congress to Presidency, this founding father from Massachusetts helped blaze the trail of American history, including as first American ambassador to England, and first Vice President of the United States. He also was a motivating force behind George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, the Constitution itself coming into the spotlight of the American stage.
Adams is an honest New Englander who loves a good debate. If you ask him a question, he will answer it. He has stories from the foundations of our country, opinions of his fellow founders that he's not afraid to share, And if he's wrong--well, he might just convince you that he should be right!
Theodore Roosevelt:
Theodore Roosevelt: a politician and family man, hunter and conservationist, Cavalry Colonel and Nobel Peace Prize winner--this "steam engine in trousers" will regale you with tales of taming the frontier, fighting in Cuba, bringing peace to Russia and Japan, and saving the American buffalo. TR was a man of the people, as comfortable cutting down trees with his men as negotiating agreements. His Strenuous Life, a live well lived, worked and played, stands as a strong example to "take a stand wherever you are, and be somebody."
"Teddy" (you can ask him why he doesn't like that nickname) packed five lifetimes into his sixty years. His stories and insights captivate, amuse, and inspire a small crowd and a packed room. And he'll have a bully good time doing it, too!

Dixon’s remarks emphasized how President Adams’ leadership, courage, and oratorical skills laid the foundation for the nation, making America a beacon of freedom.

"
Peyton Dixon, who portrays President Theodore Roosevelt...He did an outstanding job of talking about his time period, in character at all times, yet making it relevant to today and to his audience. He was serious, funny, and a thrill to listen to. I was able to observe Peyton doing informal chatting during the event's social hour, as well as a formal presentation as one of the event speakers. I would highly recommend him, if you are still looking for someone to portray President Roosevelt.

I wanted to reach out and tell you how impressed I was with your portrayal of Colonel Roosevelt. What an amazing job you did! I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Your breadth of knowledge and ability to answer such a variety of questions without missing a beat was quite impressive.
